Barão Export Yerba Mate

Barão Export Yerba Mate is named for its Uruguayan standard. It is produced with a blend of native and cultivated yerba mate and is dried in a rotary dryer. It is ground in a mill, which gives the yerba mate leaf a coarser granulometry, after which the yerba mate is stored for a period of 8-12 months for maturation. Due to this process, Erva-Mate Export has an intensified flavor and bitterness.

NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION: Resolution RDC No. 360, of December 23, 2003, approves the Technical Regulation on Nutritional Labeling of Packaged Foods, making nutritional labeling mandatory. However, this Technical Regulation does not apply to coffee, yerba mate, tea, and other herbal products without the addition of other ingredients. This product is exempt from registration according to RDC No. 23, of 2000, and RDC No. 27, of 2010.
